All items you are purchasing are components of an unfinished item,
or partially completed item, referred to as a retrofit system. It is the
purchasers responsibility to ensure all items are installed properly and
safetly. The purchaser understands that this incomplete item (just like
most electrical items) may be dangerous and may result in injury or death due
to risk of electrocution, electric shock, fire or item damage if it is
installed incorrectly, or if it is being mishandled while being installed
correctly and properly. Use at your own risk. You can significantly
reduce this risk by utilizing a UL listed GFCI outlet.
-You agree and understand that you may be purchasing an unfinished and
incomplete item(s).
-Complex assembly may be required.
-You must not install any electrical devices in the vicinity of your aquarium
near exposed water. A waterproof interface, known as a "splash
shield" must be installed to eliminate the possibility of getting water or
salt-creep on the light system.
-You agree you are capable of safetly completing this complex
assembly.
-You assume the responsibility of finishing and completing construction of
these item(s) and ensure that proper and safe installation will occur prior to
operation.
-You agree to take into consideration the recommendations within the
installation guides.
-As with any electrical device installed near an aquarium or other device
holding water, you understand the importance of properly utilizing a GFCI
(ground fault circuit interrupter electrical outlet) and use drip loops on all
wires carrying electrical power.
-You understant to NEVER touch a live circuit, as severe injury or death may
result.
-You agree to never look directly at LED light, most blue and purple
wavelengths are considered a Class 2 Laser and PERMANENT retina and eye damage
WILL result, even after only a few seconds of exposure.
Due to the nature of installing a retrofit lighting system, taking into
account the infinite number of ways it can be installed and also the infinite
number of ways it can be installed improperly or accidentally damaged (such as
electrostatic discharge, accidental physical damage, water damage, electrical
surge, loose wire, etc), in addition to keeping prices at Steve's LEDs as low
as possible, no warranty is offered, expressed or indicated. Every item that
leaves the facility passes a rigorous quality control test and is 100%
operational. The event of a total system failure is highly improbably, because
the drivers and power supplies have built in overheating and overloading
protections. Repair services are available at discounted rates. Most
items are serviceable and upgradeable.
All 95% and 99% Completed System Upgrades will be warranted
against Dead On Arrival (DOA) and provided with a 30 day manufacturers defect limited warranty. Items will be repaired or replaced at Steve's LEDs discretion.
Customer is responsible for all shipping costs unless otherwise notified.
Steve's LEDs brand Digital Drivers are warranted up to a period of
3 years, due to failure from manufacturer defect only. Steve's LEDs
reserves the right to determine the nature of failure, based on thorough
testing procedures which determine how the drivers fail. The defective unit
will either be repaired, replaced, or be exchanged with a refurbished driver.
Steve's LEDs engineered LED marine-grade aluminum tube heatsinks
are warranted up to a period of 15 years against manufacturing defect, faulty
welds, not including oxidation and corrosion.
There is no guarantee that the LED retrofit lighting system conforms to
federal, state or local electrical code. All products manufactured by
Steve's LEDs, LLC conform to FCC regulations. The power supplies are not
manufactured by Steve's LEDs, however, they conform with FCC laws and
regulation. Consult the appropriate department of regulation in your city to
insure compliance.
Do not install any of Steve's LEDs products directly above exposed water.
It is recommended that the end user install some type of transparent,
non-porous splash protector, such as a sheet of acrylic, glass or polycarbonate
(Lexan) between the retrofit system and the exposed water.

All regular orders will be processed in the order the were received.
Average build times range from 2 hours to 21 days, depending on the size
of the order and the complexity of the build. Customer orders will not get
placed in the queue until payment in full has been funded (one day for payments
in cash or via PayPal, 10 days for: personal checks, business checks, money
orders, cashier's checks and wire transfers). Progress updates may be provided
at the request of the customer. If you choose EXPRESS or expedited
shipping (1 day or less on domestic orders and 5 days or less on international
orders), the order will be expedited, and built immediately, and no excess shipping
charges will be refunded due to the increased cost of the expedited
manufacturing and handling.
Steve's LEDs, LLC is a very small business. Please
understand every effort is make to fulfill order requests as expeditiously as
possible. When a large number of orders are received, it may take several
days to manufacture, prepare, package, and ship the order. Our main goal
is to keep prices low - occasionally this comes at the expense of other
business operations operating in a timely fashion. We thank you for your

on the market today!
At this time, Steve's LEDs,
LLC ships merchandise to locations within the United States and
U.S. territories, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US
Virgin Islands. We also provide shipping internationally to more than 190
countries. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this
Web site pass to you, the customer, when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping
carrier. The customer is also responsible for all export fees, taxes,
tariffs, duties and expenses. If you would like for your package to be
insured, please indicate so in the comments section during checkout, and you
will be responsible for these additional costs.
Due to the nature of the retrofit kits, their sizes and weights,
shipping may not be calculated accurately at the time of checkout. In
effort to achieve the lowest possible prices, your items will be packaged in
the smallest box possible. On occasion, some retrofit kits, parts or
components require special packaging to ensure they arrive free of damage. That
actual postage amount may be combined with the cost of the packaging and boxing
supplies, in addition to the cost of labor and level of involvement and effort
during the packaging process, although this is rare.
Orders are typically shipped without insurance, if you would like
to add insurance at the customer's expense, please indicate so in the comments
box, if you do not request insurance, YOU will be responsible for all items
damaged during transit.
Depending on the size of your order (typically orders greater than
$5), when using Paypal as a method of payment, up to 3.1% of your order total
may be included in the request for your shipping funds. This is a way for
Steve's LEDs, LLC to recover expenses to keep prices ultra low.
If your insured package arrives with visible damage, please open
the package while the carrier is still present, to ensure no product
damaged occurred. Otherwise, notify the carrier immediately and
follow their procedures. Only refuse delivery of your package if the
package was insured, otherwise, you will be responsible for the additional
shipping and handling charges.
Steve's LEDs is not responsible for the cost of shipping and/or
postage
Steve's LEDs, LLC charges State, Local, County, Parish and other legally required sales
tax for merchandise ordered on this Web site based on the applicable Louisiana
state sales tax rate and the applicable Louisana St. Tammany Parish sales tax
rate if you live within the state of Louisana and St. Tammany Parish
