These are the brand new Luxeon SunPlus Deep Red 3W LEDs. The very first LEDs developed specifically for horticulture, and matched to the photosynthetic absorption peaks of chlorophyll!

These are perfect for getting maximum growth rates out of plants, especially when used with the Royal Blue LEDs.

You are able to vary the ratio of Deep Red and Royal Blue to get the plants to grow exactly how you want them.

Example ratios - results vary depending on several environmental factors not listed here:

Royal Blue 1:1 Deep Red = very short, densely packed, small-leaved plants. Not particularly optimal.

Royal Blue 1:2 Deep Red = very short, densely packed plants. Not particularly optimal.

Royal Blue 1:3 Deep Red = well balanced plants, with excellent growth rates. This is one of the most widely used LED combinations in the world, balancing a densely packed, high growing plant.

Royal Blue 1:4 Deep Red = well balanced plants, with excellent growth rates. This is one of the most widely used LED combinations in the world, maximizing biomass (plant weight)

Royal Blue 1:5 Deep Red = great for tall plants, such as citrus, corn, or any other plant you need to grow particularly tall, where high quantities of leaves aren't required.

*mixing in other colors such as Far Red, Lime and Cool white modify (can improve or detract) growth performance.
