These are the brand new Luxeon SunPlus Royal Blue 3W LEDs.  The very first LEDs developed specifically for horticulture, and matched to the photosynthetic absorption peaks of chlorophyll!

These are perfect for getting maximum growth rates out of plants, especially when used with the Deep Red LEDs.

You are able to vary the ratio of Deep Red and Royal Blue to get the plants to grow exactly how you want them.
Example ratios - results vary depending on several environmental factors not listed here:
Royal Blue 1:1 Deep Red = very short, densely packed, small-leaved plants.  Not particularly optimal.

Royal Blue 1:2 Deep Red = very short, densely packed plants.  Not particularly optimal.

Royal Blue 1:3 Deep Red =  well balanced plants, with excellent growth rates.  This is one of the most widely used LED combinations in the world, balancing a densely packed, high growing plant.

Royal Blue 1:4 Deep Red =  well balanced plants, with excellent growth rates.  This is one of the most widely used LED combinations in the world, maximizing biomass (plant weight)

Royal Blue 1:5 Deep Red =  great for tall plants, such as citrus, corn, or any other plant you need to grow particularly tall, where high quantities of leaves aren't required.

*mixing in other colors such as Far Red, Lime and Cool white modify (can improve or detract) growth performance.

Grow lights build
I bought a few of these to compare against the Z5, Cree XPE and Luxeon ES, and under my light meter, these output a bit more than the Z5, and almost identical to the ES and cree. The Crees are starting to burn out and it's only been 3 months. Funny thing is that sells the sunplus royal blue, not mounted to stars for $2.45 EACH, and I was able to pick them up when Steves had them on sale for $1.50 mounted to stars. These also have better light spread than the other LEDs tested, so you can mount them closer to your plants without burning the plants. Very nice LEDs.

So blue!
These are so blue they hurt my brain. Not windex light blue, but the richest dark blue you've ever seen. These have a good bit more spread than the Luxeon ES and just as bright, so I like these better.
